The real estate sector worldwide is responsible for 30-40% of all CO2 emissions. The Global Real Estate Run encourages participants to reduce their environmental footprint. For every kilometer completed in the Global Real Estate Run a tree will be planted.
According to research from the ETH Zurich, approximately 0.9 billion hectares of land worldwide are suitable for reforestation, with the potential to capture up to two-thirds of human-made carbon emissions. By planting trees, we not only help absorb CO2 but also support biodiversity and healthier ecosystems. Over the years, more than 37'000 trees have already been planted as part of the Global Real Estate Run event.
We are proud to have contributed to a more environmentally conscious and sustainable future for the real estate industry.
